Context

Verivox, a leading e-commerce comparison portal for household utilities, lacked a holistic vision to ensure a seamless customer experience across verticals and platforms.

Naturally grown and newly acquired teams worked in parallel, creating fragmented journeys. A unified UX strategy and governance were needed to align priorities and quality across web and apps.

Approach

As Vice President UX I led an 18-person design and research organization across four verticals and three sites.

I set the UX vision, strengthened and anchored user-centric discovery, established shared standards and a company-wide design system, built UX governance and DesignOps, coached leaders, and embedded a mobile-first delivery model tied to outcomes.

Impact

User-centric discovery, shared standards, and a company-wide design system accelerated product discovery and delivery by 25 percent. Conversion rose up to 24 percent across verticals, NPS by 13, and CSAT by 20 points.

Clear governance and aligned roadmaps reduced rework, raised release velocity, and improved consistency, supporting growth and customer loyalty.
